Episode 197: Stairway to Heaven

This week's theme from Led Zepplin The Beatles “supposedly” did it, along with Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra, The Rolling Stones and Styx. What “they did” caused the Church to burn records and forced the government to make laws protecting the “subconscious minds” of youth.

This wasn’t that long ago … in fact, it was 1983. The term is officially called “backmasking” and it means coding music so that when played backwards, it reveals hidden messages – and some believe “satanic” messages. The question in Indie Insider Information is this: Who are the brain police and what have they done to the music?

Another hot topic in the portion of Fame Games called Indie Insider Information.
